Missed connection: I was the bar patron slamming PBRs and Jameson shots. You were the bartender that looked like Paul Bunyan with galaxies in his blue eyes. I will go to no other bar in this town until I find you again. 10/10 best pork rinds in town

Just moved to Bloomington from Wisconsin, and Alley Bar has been really welcoming. I'm sure all the bartenders are amazing but I've met Austin and Obie a few times and they're so fun! Thanks guys!

The Alley Bar is the "Cheers" of Bloomington. We are lucky to have it and it's always a fun place to hang out. The staff is friendly and they have the best Bloody Marys in town. Love this place!

Here for a week and I have been here most nights. Great little locals bar, not a college bar for the most part. Bartenders freindly and the local as are accepting of “outsiders” as well. Great prices as well.

First time I ever been here, worked out at the gym with a friend. Wanted to get a beer at the lion , it was closed. The ally bar turned out to be a great Bar full of friendly people. Had a mug, and as we were leaving they have a nice heated over hang were people can set out side. A homeless lady started to play a guitar with amazing skill, so we set and chatted a bit, went to rockets pizza , and then returned to the ally bar till close. Made for a pleasant unexpectedly enjoyable evening, when originally only planned to hit the gym. Definitely will be back, cheers!!

A cozy dive bar on Kirkland that's great to either take in a game, or just to commiserate with good friends. Easy going and with great bartenders who take the time to know their customers.
